A WordPress website with smooth scrolling and page transitions for Woven, a video production company, built with Oku Studio.
Woven is a video production company with a lot of creative energy, and their new brand needed a website to match. Working with Oku Studio, I turned Woven's new branding and logo into a website and user experience that feel just as creative.
Smooth scrolling from Locomotive Scroll and page transitions with Barba.js make the site feel closer to a single-page app than a traditional WordPress site. Lottie animations bring the brand's motion to life in a lightweight and interactive way that video alone couldn't.
Behind the scenes, everything is built from Gutenberg blocks, so the Woven team can put together new project pages and keep their portfolio up to date without needing a developer. Animations respect reduced motion preferences, and content stays accessible however people choose to browse.
