A WordPress website for Berkshire Consultancy, bringing their bold, illustrated learning and development brand to life online.
Berkshire Consultancy designs learning and development programmes for organisations across the private, public and higher education sectors, covering leadership, team performance, equity, diversity and inclusion, and talent development. Their brand is bold and illustrative, and the website needed to carry that personality while staying clear and professional.
During my time with FutureKings I built a custom WordPress theme that brings the illustrated brand to life, with layouts built from a set of reusable blocks so the team can create service pages, insights and case studies without developer help. The illustrations are optimised and served responsively, so the site stays quick despite being so visual.
For a consultancy that works on equity and inclusion, accessibility had to be more than an afterthought. I paid close attention to colour contrast, heading structure, keyboard navigation and screen reader support, so the site reflects the values Berkshire Consultancy brings to its clients.
