Here's a selection of my work from the past few years. There's a mix of freelance projects and work from full-time roles. I've tried to link to anything that is still online, but contrary to most twitter controversies, the internet sometimes forgets.
Client: Sentient Media
Services: Full Stack Development
I was brought in to help Sentient Media launch their new brand with a refreshed website. We started fresh with a new theme build, and some dramatic tidying up of the existing database and content. Post-launch, we saw a huge improvement in Lighthouse scores, as well as reduced file sizes on both the front-end load and backend database, giving us a faster, more environmental friendly website.
Client: Something Familiar
Services: Full Stack Development
To dive into the Hyborian Age, I built an interactive map using Leaflet, showing all the locations visited and the adventures had by Conan since his original introduction. I also worked with a prompt engineer and the team at Automatic.Chat to implement the interactive Tavern Of Treachery text adventure game. All of this was built on top of a Wordpress-based low-code solution using Bricks.
Client: Oku Studio
Services: Full Stack Development
A super fun project, again working with Oku Studio. We focused on getting as much fun and life into the website as possible and having Mute on hand to provide custom animations for the logos, footer and menu toggle helped us achieve just that. We used a lot of Lottie animations to keep the website feeling fresh, but also keep the page speed as fast as possible.
Client: GameTrack
Services: UX, UI & Development
GameTrack asked me to help improve their site and bring in new features and performance updates. After some auditing, we elected to re-develop the site, in the process upgrade them to Vue 3, switch from an old UI library to Tailwind CSS, and give a rock solid foundation for adding new features to compliment the suite of MacOS, iOS & iPadOS applications.
Client: Oku Studio

I helped Oku Studio develop Wovens' new branding and logo into a complementary website and user experience. The addition of smooth scrolling from Locomotiv Scroll and page transitions via Barba.js makes this WordPress based site feel closer to an SPA and highlights Woven's creative energy and passion for video production.

During my ongoing relationship with Bower Collective, I've worked closely with their CTO to completely redevelop their Shopify theme, taking them from a customised off-the-shelf theme to a brand new build, fully tailored to their business requirements, whilst improving performance and accessibility scores.
To complement this, I developed a suite of UI components, catalouged in Storybook,to support their fully custom user portal, greatly improving the subscription and order management workflows.
Client: Otaku Development

Otaku Development wanted to move away from a traditional LAMP Stack and redesign its website at the same time. I took their new brand and worked up a new UX & UI experience. This was developed into a static website using 11ty, allowing Dan to easily host and update his website as required, reduce hosting costs and dramatically increase the site's performance and SEO scores.
